Mini Air12: Ultra-Budget Entry Point
Performance Ceiling
Intel N100 (Alder Lake-N) is a 4-core chip designed for passive cooling and minimal power. Not suitable for development or sustained workloads. Best for: office work, web browsing, media consumption, lightweight HTPC roles.
Unique Constraint: 1× RAM Slot
Mini Air12 has only 1× DDR5 SO-DIMM slot (not 2 like other models). Max upgrade: 16GB (from 8GB to single 16GB module). No further upgradeable RAM beyond that.

Power & Cooling
External DC brick — not USB-C
Like every GEEKOM mini, the Air12 is powered by an external DC adapter with a barrel jack. Its USB-C ports carry data and DisplayPort output, not power input, so a USB-C PD charger will not run it regardless of wattage. We have not been able to confirm the exact wattage of the supply from a primary source, so check the rating printed on your own adapter before buying a replacement, and match both the voltage and the barrel size.
Actual consumption is very low — the Intel N100 is a 6W-class part — which is why this is the quietest machine in GEEKOM’s range.
Connectivity & Limitations
2× USB-A + 2× USB-C + HDMI 2.0 (4K 60Hz max). Minimal but adequate for office use. No Thunderbolt.
